Hi, Sir or Madam:
It is good news for the event in Taiwan, the take more action the better for Taiwan.
I hope the event can attract more citizens of Taiwan attending.
The chair leader or every one must be prepared for best presentations, and important
tactful reply. Speak loudly and clearly with strong couragesous. If one cannot answer
the question, others must speak up and reply the question promptly.
The more events are doing the more people will be interesting and involvement.
If the finanical is needed, contact those rich and famous Taiwanese donate their
partially, the events are held to protect their properties and family safe and
freedom. If they cannot donate, if Taiwan is not safe for freedom, those keep money
and properties for their children that will be dangers for their life daily.
Help the poor Taiwanese stand up on the front fight with enemy CCP aggressors.
So rich and famous Taiwanese children can be protected. Isn't true?
If enemy CCP and its PLA come and occupy island, those righ and famous Taiwanese
will become first attact, they will have no way to hide their family images, but life
threaten daily. Is true?

Please have the conference organizers specifically clarify if this is to be a discussion relying on LAW, TREATIES, INTERNATIONAL PRECEDENT, INTERNATIONAL CONVENTIONS, etc. or if the primary focus will be on EMOTIONAL ARGUMENTS.
The reason that we ask this question is that we find many of the "arguments" of the Taiwan independence camp to be lacking in strong legal foundations. When people with a more logical orientation try to refute such emotional statements, they are often ridiculed, especially when a large number of participants are just interested in promoting certain "pre-established conclusions."
Hence we would strongly appreciate it if the conference organizers could make some additional clarifications on exactly what their thinking is.

Dear all:
TAUP is organizing a general panel discussion on the Taiwan Status. What is ROC, Relationship between Taiwan and China, etc. for clarifying what we should do and cooperate in the future among all Taiwan associations. The conference will be held on the 3rd and 4th of Jan. 2009 at International Auditorium, College of Social Science, NTU on Hsu-Chow Rd., Taipei City.
Anyone interested in participating in such an important meeting can submit one's article to TAUP and request for a 10min (?) presentation. The Working Committee will make final decisions on the program after review all submitted articles, to avoid duplications. After presentations of invited speakers and voluntary specialists, there will be a general discussion. Hopefully, we will reach some consensus. Major political parties such as DPP and TSU, and associations such as WUFI, TAUP, Friends of LTH, etc are invited.
With this email, I sincerely welcome you as an individual or representative of your association to take part in this historical event. However, I apologize for such a short notice, due to the urgent current situation in Taiwan. You may ask someone on your behalf to present your paper, provided that he/she shares the same opinions with you and can explain your ideas clearly. All personal expenses should be one's own responsibility. TAUP will serve lunch boxes for the participants. A guideline to prepare your article will make openly to the public soon.
Sincerely,
Aquia, President, TAUP
